Space for earnest connection with books at the center

Lit Club NYC is a literary community for the culturally curious.
We host curated events in beautiful spaces across the city, bringing people together to read, reflect, and connect. We believe what we read matters just as much as where we read. Our venues are design-forward and lived-in, chosen with care to honor our community.
Each gathering is an invitation to deepen our connections—to books, to the city, and to each other.
Kelly Chervin is a Puerto Rican Jewish New Yorker who has long looked to books to untangle her big (and never-ending) questions about herself and the world.
A former English teacher, she founded a middle school in the Bronx before moving into her current career in ed tech. Kelly is fueled by sociology, Sally Rooney and creating spaces where readers think critically, feel seen and connect meaningfully.
She likes her martinis filthy, her laughs loud and her hot takes unapologetic. On any given day you can find her marveling at the trees in Central Park, book in hand.
